Unreleased New album - needs Mastered
THE THIRD ALBUM IS COMPLETE!!!! - It simply needs the essential last production step of mastering. Mastering creates a sonic presentation able to stand as a peer in the presence of music's best artists. This project is to fund the mastering of my project - my 3rd album - by a Grammy®-award winning Mastering Engineer.
Mastering is rather straight-ahead cost-wise. The Engineer charges their same rate per track. The new album will have 9 tracks. If the funding goal gets met, release can occur in late 2026.
LYRICALLY... This third album is a return to an explicit exploration of faith. As a melancholy-tempered individual, I'm prone to wrestling with God - and I'm influenced by eras of popular music in which the lyrics of music caused introspection, reflection, and, perhaps, even transformation.
STYLISTICALLY... I have always admired musical artists who explore a different sound with each album - two of my favorite artists are a-ha and jars of clay. While a-ha may be known by most as "synth pop", there is no way that that label is accurate for them as artists in light of albums of theirs such as East of the Sun, West of the Moon. And while jars of clay may have been initially labeled as Contemporary Christian Music, there is no way that that categorization is accurate for MOST of their eclectic and robust body of work.
And so this third album is not designed to impress with its production intricacies as my past work efforted. Rather, it is a glorified singer-songwriter album in depth and approach - and is produced just enough to convey a mood and compliment the songs.
